Colourpop Ultra Metallic Lips – Original Four – Swatches & Review

Heyyyy everyone!

Today I’m reviewing the Colourpop Ultra Metallic Lips 🙂 I’m going to start off by saying that overall the pros outweigh the cons!

If you’re here just for the swatches I did a lip swatch video on our Instagram page…here’s the link to it:  https://www.instagram.com/p/BIsd8PrB9bC/

When I first used the colors I noticed that they are thick coming out of the tube. On the wand applicator I would sometimes get product on that balls up and is very moussey . When applied to the lips they don’t feel as moussey as they look on the wand. One swipe is pretty pigmented but I need to apply two layers of the product per lip (under & upper lip). So yeah that’s a lot of product consumed per wear.

These transfer really easily and they do not dry matte. Which is a con and pro at the same time as they aren’t drying (they’re pretty hydrating) but in return they’re not longwearing.

You can definitely layer this product as it won’t dry out (or dry your lips, crumble or look weird)

I like that it truly looks metallic on the lips not like lipstick with glitter on.

So basically I would recommend these to someone on the look out for metallic lips…these are great overall and for $6 only you can’t go wrong with purchasing them (or some of them or just one :P)

I ordered two Ofra metallic liquid lipsticks so I’ll be trying them on, swatching them and reviewing them for you guys once I receive them.

I’ll also leave a side note comparing them to the Colourpop ones so be on the look out for that blog post ❤

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Love you – NR
